- Regulatory sign marking a pedestrian precinct: only a vehicle delivering or loading goods, a vehicle used in connection with maintenance, or an emergency vehicle is permitted; such vehicles shall yield right-of-way to all pedestrians in or about to cross their path and observe a maximum speed of 15 km/h unless otherwise indicated.
What the Pedestrian priority zone sign means
This marks a pedestrian precinct. Only three kinds of vehicle may go in at all: one delivering or loading goods, one there for maintenance, or an emergency vehicle.
What you must do
If you are not delivering, doing maintenance or driving an emergency vehicle, do not enter. If you are permitted in, give way to every pedestrian in your path or about to cross it, and keep to 15 km/h unless a sign shows otherwise.
